Hi Lisa,

Told you that you'd be happy with the RPS jobbie! ;) Glad to hear all is ok.

Regards,

Dan

I'm very happy with it, good responsive clutch, feels like its making my car faster.

Thanks very much Dan

P.S Does it need to be run in ?

It is buckled, but only like thin tin metal that part !

eek! Ive got one of them, mine feels fine though, never smelt either.

I think lisa's plate was buckled to begin with leading to premature wear. unless hers was old stock and had passed its sell by date in which the material looses its bedding in properties or something like that.

Started slipping...not driven it hard, running it in etc...but never had free play on it from start so after many threads and post regarding this, realised clutch pedal not adjusted properly....why when uprating clutch from standard it isnt mentioned i dont know but clutch pedal adjustment IS NEEDED....so after many hours of back breaking laying in footwell it is done, many thanks to snoopy who finally sorted it for me and i hope now it is adjusted properly, well done jay and thanks to dave for giving up his day to help sort it:bow: havent driven it myself but am assured its adjusted correctly now so will keep you imformed but i'm sure it will be fine:):)
