my car seems to be bouncing all over the road (from the rear), it seems really harsh, i remeber being told when i bought them that they were set at their most hardest setting on the rear as he liked it twitchy, would changing the dampening really alter the ride that much, it just seems to hard

is the settings on the spl site the same for teins??????

Yes, the damping adjustment makes a night and day difference. Its never going to be air cushion soft, but it will be very noticable.

Apart from having to remove the boot trim *, it only takes a second to wind the adjuster in on top of the shock.

* best solution is to make a cut out in the boot trim so you dont have to remove it each time.

The SPL site instructions are very good although complex, but for a quick try just set them mid way and adjust harder and softer from there to your preference.

cheers bud, it will be getting hole's cut in lol, pain in the ass removing all the boot panels

i know they will be firm, ive had fords dropped on coilovers before and it wasnt as hard as this lol, the only dampening im getting is the air in the tyres lol

Stiff suspesion and worn hicas? will make the whole ride even worse, But as david says you could soften the setting so you get some rebound! lol
