whats the difference in auto boxes for turbos and non turbos

is it ok to fit a non turbo auto box to a turbo engine.

i didnt think there was a difference, but reading through the specs apparently a non turbo auto box does not have a drain plug ???

N/A gear box DOES have a drain plug ..as i have had 3 N/A box's in my car ...

 

not 100% ,but the n/a is bigger or smaller than a TT box ,but they do fit ,with a little work ...:)

so why does my box not have a drain plug ??

basically the tt box is physically bigger to accommodate for bigger internals and larger torque converter.

 

both will fit each other but the torque converters for the right bo must be used as well as the ring gear otherwise the starter wont reach the flywheel !

TT Autoboxes are plentifull, I would fit a TT one rather than blowing a NA box.

just dont understand why some have drain plugs and some dont ????
