very odd....happened yesterday i looked out of the kitchen window and noticed the drivers side headlamp was on....when checking the dash etc everything was set to off....so fiddled with the indicator stalk and light switch and it went off....but came back 2 hours later.....did the same thing again it went off....any ideas what the hell that is all about?

or a dodgy earth or switch i spose !

Does your car have parking lights ?. i.e. when you leave the indicator on it leaves the side light on that side.

 

If so it's earthing itself out somewhere.

im sure someone has that this before i remember the topic, it ended up being a dodgy relay i think.

yeah relay sounds promising...was thinking the same self thing earlier today...i'll swap em over tonight

If it was a dodgy earth I would expect both lights would come on as the headlight stalk is negative-switched I think I remember??
