Well yesterday they came and looked at the Zed for my insurance. Surprise (NOT) that they wrote it off to day. Not economical to fix he said. I was then told i can keep the car and would receive 2 grand to fix it. I was speaking to the guy and i said how do you recone that. He said they use the guide book and look at sites like pistonheads etc to see what they go for. He was on the site when i spoke to him and he was reading out some of the Zeds for sale. There were alot going for a 1000. I was shocked to see how low the value had gone. Fookin govenments fault...bazard petrol prices!!!

i got 4k for mine, bought it back from insurance for £800, also got a wiplash claim in, which still fookin hurts like hell at times (like now)

Yep dispute there valuation.

Go to piston heads and get some of the more expensive ones on there for them to look at.

If you were selling it you wouldn't accept someone walking and saying i'll give you 2 grand for it, you would haggle, so haggle with the insurance company.

Good luck with it.
