hi trance

the biggest you can get is "evo 8" calipers or "r33" skyline calipers to fit your 300, with re-locating brackets. (krsmayo on this forum has done this with the evo set up).

or you can get the "k-sport 8 pot" calipers which is just short of £1000

There is a whole range of Big brake upgrades out there from AP Racing, Rotora, Stoptech, Ksport/D2, Willwood ..etc typically from £1000-£3000

Im guessing your looking to do a bit of a custom fitment though ?, with some Larger calipers from another vehicle that you want to have a custom manufactured bracket for fitment.

When choosing a caliper there are other considerations too, one of the most important being offest. If the offset is all wrong then the alignment between caliper, disc, hub..and getting them to fit between wheels could be a big issue.

I believe some people (overseas) have had quite some success with various Porsche Brembo calipers. (996 I believe)

Those Evo/R33 Brembo calipers are far from the biggest calipers to fit, in fact they would be the smallest caliper upgrade available !

The 350z/Impreza/Evo/GTR's all share the same Brembo calipers, but the Evo and Impreza would need custom brackets, whereas the GTR and 350z are pretty much straight bolt ons.

somebody was selling some jaguar xjr ones on here, i fancied re spraying and fitting them, i haven got a clue on offset though, maybe i would need to just look at evo/impreza calps cos gtr ones seem to be expensive

the evo 8 calipers are huge compaired to 350z ones

Cool, I never realised that. I know the others are all the same. Might have to look into them a bit more, they seem to be cheaper then the more popular GTR upgrade.

What did you do about caliper brackets ?

Yeh, the Evo calipers make the GTR/350's look like stock! :D

Its not just the calipers that make the difference, you will need larger diameter discs too. They make a huge different when keeping the standard caliper.

i remember "krsmayo" telling me at a meet at birchangar that the evo 8 calipers are one of the best upgrades for the 300, apart from going for the full "8-pot k-sport jobbies"

I had some brackets made to move the roiginal calipers out furhter from the center to fit 325mm GTR discs, made a very worthwhile improvement for very little cost.

If you look on http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/?source=googleebc&gclid=CPKh6tS_n5QCFQyD1Qodr3fbtA they list most of the dimensions needed to figure out if the caliper/disc will work on the Z.

Some can be quite cheap if you move away from the "Usual Suspects" IIRC I did consider Discovery discs but they would not fit in my wheels.
