Been on the phone with Chris at ZTech and he has given me a few options, which are as follows.

Cheapest option is to go with the 360 thrust bearings or go with the hybrid internals, which is a bit more expensive, or, which i'm really thinking about is, upgrading to the jwt530bb turbos with 5 bolt downpipes and 555 injectors, the thing is, I no someone who is selling the 530 tubs, 555 injectors and the downpipes for £2000 and they've only done around 600 miles, Chris said he would do the work and charge around £1400 labour which includes a service and tests to the engine and a general check of the car.

What would you guys and girls suggest, bearing in mind I use the car every day and would like it to be reliable and easy to live with, only looking at around 400bhp for now, I will be changing the intercoolers too and getting remapped, will be upgrading the clutch and flywheel when I have more money is there any thing else I should think about changing?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Take the new engine without a doubt..... If your 100% sure the works been done then its well worth it in my eyes.

Ive made my decision, im gunna go with the new engine, as it will be cheaper in the long run and it is a much higher spec than what I was originally going to do, for example

jwt530bb turbos, 555 injectors, wiesco pistons, chip, top end rebuild by z tech, upgraded cluth and fidanda fly wheel, lightened pulley set and the 5 bolt down pipes, all this for an extra £1000 over having just hybrid turbos fitted, cant go wrong really, cant wait for it all to be fitted, I want to run this engine well within its tollerances, probably between 20 and 25 psi, not sure on what power figures I will be achieving, but I can imagine it will be quite rapid compared to what it is now, will have to start saving again for some bigger brakes, all parts have done less than a 1000 miles, all work will be carried out by chris at ztech, he seems like a real genuine bloke, and knows his stuff.
