Found these on ebay and i really like them

Would they be ok for the Z?

Also which pod lods are the easiest to see when driving?

They do look smart!!.. I can't see why they wouldn't be OK for the zed.

I personally think the A pillar pods are the easiest to see, without taking your eye off the road for too long.

Did you get a proper A pillar pod holder or a universal one

Is there a lot of difference?

I did, and would always go for the 'specific fit' pod.. The universals are OK, but obviously don't fit as neatly, nor follow the contours of the zed interior panels.

The univeral ones just "fix" to your standard a-pillar, and rarely fit properly and look crap.

The proper Z32 specific pods completely replace your standard A-piller trim ! and are made of the same or simlar finish to the original trim.

Hey mate Ive got a single pod A pillar 60mm one that Ive just taken out of my car if you want it. I got it from Luke at the Z centre he does loads of different options for size and numbers of pods etc.

not that I know of mate hes the only place that I know do the proper a pillar pods instead of the ones you screw on

Should I order a boost gauge in BAR or psi?

I prefer PSI, but its all personal preference.

It only goes up to 1.5 bar which is about 21 psi, so it's only really good for stock turbo's or after market tubs not running as much boost.

I had very similar gauges to this before but to be honest I got rid of them as they were a little too bright during the night.

My current gauges have an extra feed on them you wire to the lights. Once you switch the lights on the gauges dim. If these gauges have this option then I think they will be quite nice, If not they can be very distracting.

As mentioned above tripple double and single A pilar replacement pods are avilable form the Z center. 52mm is the ideal size you want.

I only have stock turbos at the mo, and probably wont go much further

ask car mad about the pillar pods, he knows where to get them from

i would steer clear of all these "dodgy" electronic boost controllers. imho.

i have a greedy profec B spec II, and it is faultless, a bit more money, but you get what you pay for.

alot of 300 owners go for this controller or the a-vcr.
