:nana2: going to santa pod tomorrow just wondering what times i should be expecting on the drag strip. my car is a standard tt has been de-cated and an auto. would i get a better time if i was against the same car but a manual.:D

    Yep Andy is about right. expect to run mid 14s.

    However you will only get 3 runs for your fee on Show days so no room for any errors, fluffed starts etc.:slap:

    And get there early to sign on if you want to get three runs in during the morning.:D

    I thought auto's launch better than manuals?? Ive seen standard auto's running high 14's. I personally have never seen a Z do a quick quarter at pod. Hope the weathers beter down there than it is in the north west.

    no, you can launch better in a Manual. but its much easier (and consistent) to launch an auto. However you can put an Auto under load on the line to give you boost from a start but dont expect the standard autobox to last long doing that.
