I know there are a few carputer boffins on here so was wondering if its possible to connect a carputer up to this touch screen DVD unit?

I don't see any VGA connections so i don't think you can but just want to be sure.

provided the unit you buy has a spare video input (they usualy have one for connecting a reversing camera) you can use a vga to video convertor.

Should have mentioned that the image resolution may be a bit wooly and not super sharp using a vga to video converter but it will work, it's what I use.

not through the video cable no. just out of curiosity... why would you want that if you have a carputer alreay? just buy a screen?

My touch screen has a USB connection to the PC in order to navigate round the pc via the screen so i don't think it will be possible with just a VGA to AV. I'm only asking as its for another member, i have a spare carputer but i don't think it will be operative with his screen.

gotcha... my touchscreen is also a usb connection to the pc
