Ohlins Suspension

Does anyone know where i can buy a single Ohlins front shocker for my car? I have been searching google for weeks but cannot find anyone in the uk selling them for the 300zx, i even emailed Ohlins but never had a reply.

I'll try the wanted section if theres no joy.

    Hi BIGSSS, don't want to build you hope's up, but if you can let me have any info on them I will try see what I can do as I know someone that works for that company, what is the problem with the one you have.

    Thanks mate, i only found out they were in my car when i jacked the car up to take the engine out. The top ot the strut was sticking out the side of the spring, it looks like the top mount has come away from the top of the piston rod, it looks like there was a recess with small ballbearing held in place by a grooved lip.

    I'll find the link i posted earlier with pics.

    This is the part that has come away from the top, there is a rod in the centre that go's up between the shaft i think its called a floating piston.

    Ok, It maybe possible to repair this, I will try and contact him but he does spend a lot of time out of country when it's the racing season, is this stopping you from using your car or is it of the road for some other work.

    Hi, its up on the axle stands just now because i can't get it down to get the engine back in without fixing/repairing the strut.
