Cant post pics and too lazy to get them hosted anywhere!!

If your phone number still ends 412143 ill send you one, though that would of been your number about 5 years ago!!

It's still the same number ;)

i was looking at those to lee, im liking those a lot (when you gonna sell me the blue Z !!!!
Lol, if you keep an eye out on ebay you can get a good set, (as in the same as mine pictured), for around £500 which is bargain seeing as they're nearly £700 each new!!

I got fed up with the reflection of the pod (Looked like a big stupid grin!!) on the windscreen in sunlight and at night from street lights.

Thought I'd copy the racing boys and indulge myself in a little fake suede!

Easy job to do if you take your time and don't mind the smell of contact adhesive. I will try and get some better pictures if I can.

Liking the mod andy, been thinking of that myself, how does it stack up with the rest of your interior does it match well ?

Hi James,

Thanks for that. Yes, It ties in nicely with the colour of the rest of the dash and also with the door cards etc as it is the same material.

If you are going to Jap Show on Sunday, or the rolling road session the following weekend, I show it to you then.

Any details of where you got your fake suede ?.

** note - if you post details I doubt it will stay unique for long :) **

Full respray plus new tein suspension all round

Myzed is the old colour and the newzed is the new colour

It's a TVR colour called Halcyon Atlantis, and is a two tone pearlescent colour...I really need some better pictures.

Having watched the video of the story of your car sir, I take your compliment in the highest regard! (Oooh er I've gone all Dickensan again!).

Oh well start as you meam to go on......

To obtain such fake suede thou shalt first try Mrs Miggins in the Town Square next door to the Snuff shop, she has many curious items imported from the four corners of the earth.

3,2,1 and your back in the room!

Failing that try my mate duncan at AI Audio in Slough 01753 575220. The stuff he uses is the next best thing to Alcantara it's self but half the price and still has some stretch in it.

The bit you've had done looks great, so Im looking forward to getting my dash back. :hyper:

I know! I didn't think you were any way. Can't wait to see what the whole dash looks like. Make sure you put some pictures up bud.

Thanks mate.

Lol, yeah it looks easy but the time it takes is because of the "fiddle" factor :)

bought a cheap crappy 350 sticker off flea bay and stuck it in the center of my cheap shitty steering wheel, cost naff all, looks naff but I did it myself and no other buggar has it

Oh really?

What would that be then????:hyper::hyper:

Andy

Sorry not had time to read the whole thread, no time, but where did you get that manual gear lever from Legrath ?????

I may have a suggestion for you there........!

........the girl I work with gave me a lift home yesterday and the gear knob in her 06 plate Fiesta Zetec looked very very much like that one!

Sure it wasn't leather but I'd guess that a 'knob from the top of the range ST model may be better trimmed; perhaps other cars in the Ford line up have similar knobs too?

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
