Never liked Matt finnish cars.

 

To me they always look half done like the owner just cant afford to have the full spray job done.

I've never ever seen the appeal of matt paint finishes.

Joel, there's a guy from Tatsu that has a midnight purple R33 GT-R with BBS LMs on it, polished lip with gold centre. Not normally a fan of gold wheels centres, but on that coloured car, they work very well.

i was'nt expecting you to like this, it does'nt have 99 spec bits on it, i think its a gorgeous car and i'd sell the zed for it any day of the week even though i do love my car, not a personal dig at you Si as i think your car is really nice but everytime somebody wants to try something different you have a comment that makes them change thier minds and i think you should lay off a bit with the negative comments

its not just this thread though its everytime, even when i wanted a photoshop of a white stripe around the car you said it looked, IIRC taccy, it really puts people on a downer when things like this are said, just my 10p worth though and no offense to you Si

Fair enough, I understand. All of what I say is all meant in a light hearted way. If no one made comments about things, positive or negative, then no one would get anywhere. :)

And its origin: it's a limited edition Nissan 350Z colour (another reason why it appealed to me ie keeping everything "Nissan" from the V8 to the paint job...I've been intending to go for this colour since the beginning of the build...sometime back in the Stone Age! ;)), as seen here:

 

 

And as for Matt Black, here's a couple of a Z done in it (think the owner's is/was on here. Hope he doesn't mind!), and one just for sh1ts and giggles...;)

 

 

Both colours appeal to me in their own way tbh.
