i'm gonna be changing the matrix pipes that go from the block into the bulkhead, they look easy enough to do but before i go ahead i just wondered if there was anything i should know, i.e does anything need to come off to make it even easier than it looks

PS. have a wee first

just been Darrell, lol.

i think a long extension on a ratchet should do it, i've had my hands in there and i can reach everything so it should be ok........fingers crossed

Bump

dont bother pulling the old ones off just cut them...saves a lot of puff...but dont drop the clips :D

oh and you can run a little bit of washing up liquid on the new hose ends so they slip over the pipe ends easier

lubrication is ALWAYS good, lol, cheers UNO your a star.

Hi

Use wd40 around the edges of the old ones to make them slightly easier to pull off. Also make sure you put the clips back on the right way round so you can get to them. I used a jubilee clip and put it on the wrong way round so I could not get to it with the screw driver/socket. Had to take it off and do it again!!!. Also the pipes only go one way the ends are different diameters.

DOH cheers Paul, you can come and do mine if ya want, lol.

No thanks, just glad i got mine done. Was a bit chewy.

If you do need a hand i dont mind helping. Unfortunatly im away for a week from tomorrow. :hyper:

have a good time then mate, thanks for the offer.

I did mine a few weeks ago, It's very tight down the back there.

I moved move of the power cables out of the way first that run across the back of the engine.

Getting the old pipes off is not too bad, getting the new ones on, well... I'm afraid that's a little more tricky.

It takes time and is very tight and fiddly but you will get there eventually.

Only took me 4 hours !!! LMAO !!

FOOK ME 4 HOURS, lol, i've had my hands in there Stu and it does'nt seem that bad but time will tell eh, cheers matey.

Regards, Chris.
