Hi folks,

Am finally getting aroung to upgrading speakers. Looking at component ones. I am starting with front doors first.

I know i'll have no major problems with 13cm ones but can i fit 16.5cm in.

Has anyone done so and if yes was it fairly easy.

Many Thanks

Nick

Stock front speaker size is bit of an odd size - 6.25" , but 6.5" (16.5cm) is the best aftermarket fitment.

Just fitted 6 1/2 in speakers in mine, had to space mine out 8mm with MDF and covered it with cloth.

Thanks for the advice.

Your retrim looks great (apart from that stering wheel :p).

Tried retrimmimg mine and made a right mess of it, well the doors anyway. gonna order kit again and get it done properly.

You missed the bit between the passenger door and the glove box, or was this left intentionally :).

Looks good mate, nice job.
