Just been looking the Mail motoring section and it says Renault are releasing a Laguna Coupe.

It has four wheel steering and a 3.5 litre V6 240 bhp petrol engine

Looks very much like a cross between the 300 and 350 zeds.

Trust the French owners of both to produce a zed hybrid !

probably the same engine as the 350z which is shared with the renault vel satis

think its horrible.... the headlights remind me of the Fiat coupe ones. They could of designed something a little more original.

The steering wheel is different but looks kinda out of proportion... yuck!

TBH i think it looks ok, however i would'nt like one as at the end of the day its a Renault Laguna. No offense to anyone that owns one but its like the 406 coupe, i can accept the saloon versions for what they are, but i don't think they work as a coupe. All my opinion of course :)

my bro in law is a senior technician for renault, apperentyl its a very good system, it even corrects and aqauplane

itl look fook all like that when its released though

It looks OK but it still a Laguna, albeit a Coupe.

I prefer the 350z; the Laguna 3.5 v6 will only have 240bhp compared to over 300 for the current Z. Plus he 350Z was built from the ground up as a sports coupe whereas the Laguna is more like an adaptation of the saloon car. Much like years ago, the Calibra was just a Cavalier underneath - hence it couldn't hold a candle to the Celica or 200sx at the time....:nelson:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Very well said indeed :)

If its anything like the 406 coupe then it will be a pile of poo.

The 406 looks great IMO but its a crap car

This looks good but will it be crap, all the gizmo's in the world might make it a great car but it just might make it a crap car with gizmo's

What makes the 406 coupe a pile of Poo?

I think the 3.0 is a great car for the money and Beautifully styled

(Have you Guessed I have one:rofl:)

I think that laguna look very nice  and if it looks like that when

its released:rolleyes: I will buy one at two years old when it will have lost

75% of its purchase price.
