A vibration like you describe sounds like either worn U-joints or centre bearing on your prop shaft.

This an be overhauled and I know of an auto Z that has recently had this work done.

Ring Darren at Ancaster Nissan who carried out the work. 07697 1193867

Craig,

It is being manufactured at this very moment :-)

Should be ready early next week.

What assurances/guarantees have they given you if it doesnt work out right away ?

What would be the lead time on getting another one done (or two with anders:) any ideas ?

What sort of price did you get quoted ? Around 300 was it ?

Duke I saw your posting regarding vibrations. I have the same problem 92 Jap with auto. Have you had any success in fixing the problem? I tried to e-mail you but it was returned. robin.rackham@btconnect.com

Mine is a 90 Auto and vibrates and I have been told it might be my centre bearing too. I spoke to Luke at the Z Centre and he said that this is very common and they recalled all of them in that states when sold and replaced the propshaft and centre bearing and UV Joints, unfortunately they did not do this in Japan or the UK.

Where is Ancaster by the way?

I have been told Andy Millace at New Way Nissan in Aldershot is very good too.
