hi all. just got my zed bk from garage today with a fresh mot . anyways i thought id take it out for a spin as i havent had it for 2 weeks whilst it was having work done. obviously its been red hot today so didnt tempt thrashing it,but when i got home after bout an hours driving i popped the bonnet and to my surprise i noticed smoke coming from back of engine. obviously this is a worry but i couldnt see exactly where the smoke was coming from, has anyone got any ideas what this might be? engine seems to be running ok,but i was also at a standstill in traffic for about 20 mins prior to getting home and opening bonnet so could it be where the engine is just so hot it may be melting wire casing? cheers.

is it smoke or steam, it sounds very much like the water pipe on the back of the engine

well they are right at the top so i doubt its them although mine are split and i have new ones on the way, but if its the little 1 right in the middle its a right pain in the arse, it took me 8 hours to change mine simply cos the spring clips where stuck on
