I have seen in the past, a few people have had this problem. How easy is it to sort? Gonna try and do a home job as my dad is good at that sort of thing and can't afford to get it done professionaly. Any tips or pointer would be appreciated. The main thing im worried about is finding a close enough paint colour match. Its a pearl white but dont have a paint code as it has been resprayed. Not sure if its a nissan pearl or not either.

if you cant get the paint matched do both the roof bars in black, it looks really nice on a white zed, to get to the rust properly you'll have to take the windscreen out i'm affraid....

Not a DIY job then and i dont trust anyone to do this, not even auto glass places. Not after the mess with our back window!

Well whoever does the metalwork is going to have to get a professional in to remove the windscreen, so makes no odds really! You could always have a chat with them first, so if they break it, they'll say nothing when you claim on your insurance....!

Its finding someone that can fit a windscreen straight to the damn thing dont leak and the rubber trime fits properly all the way round !

Im loosing interest in this car fast. Just seems a waste of time and money, especially seeing that i would'nt get even half of what i paid for it if we siold it!

Or you could, for instance find someone who is breaking a mint condition zed with a dead gearbox and buy the shell from them.:p
