...please folks

are there any alternatives to the hard thin water coolant pipes running off the tubs as i got a couple of pinholes and thought there maybe something less likely to pinhole in the future

also when struggling to remove the blasted egr nut on the passenger tub manifold (so i could blank it off) some swarf dropped into the manifold...what can i flush / clean with (carb cleaner...WD40...plus gas?)..i guess a few particles may find their way into the tub but dont want to bugger the tub by using the wrong cleaning method

i thank you

chris

You certainly do not want swarf left behind in the manifold. The clearance between the turbo impellor and the casing is minute and would definitely damage the impellor if they met. I would try a vacuum cleaner with a piece of small bore rubber pipe gaffer taped to it. If you also put a thin cloth (hankerchief) between the vacuum pipe and the bag, you can also check and see what you have managed to suck out.
