Assuming that the government has taken 60-70% tax every year and at todays rate the goverment is receiving 70p in tax you can see very quickly that they are getting more in tax than we where paying in total not too long ago. It does not take einstein to work out that they can well afford to drop thier revenue down to 40p and it would resemble prices from a few years back.

 

Now you got to ask, if I can see this, why in hell has Gordon Brown not seen it as he used to be in charge of the countries accounts.

Id love to only pay 103p for petrol, Standard 95 is 115.9 and V power is 123.9p, cost me 74quid to fill the zed up the other day!!!

They wont though after all there are freelaoders, a war and MPs second homes to pay for, do you have no sympathy?
