Hello,
Firstly I'd like to thank you technical guys for helping me with my tick over problem, where my 92 turbo was idling at around 1700-2000rpm when she had warmed up. I spent ages checking connector contacts and the PTU thingy to no avail and as I was totally losing hope I read about an old thread about the Idle Solenoid Valve sticking (the thought of removing this was not a happy one). Someone (can't remember who) suggested removing one of the rubber tubes going to the solenoid valve and spraying some WD-40 in to lubricate it. I tried this and it's sorted !!! Thank-you guys.
On the same topic, is there anyway that this sticking solenoid valve could affect boost pressure ???
I know someone who has this problem on his 300ZX TT.
