I have to take the new car in for an MOT/get any problems fixed on tuesday with the dealer.

I have noticed whilst driving slow (could not help it got stuck in traffic!) at around 30-40 mph with about 1500 - 2000 revs the car feels slightly juddery (its an auto in normal mode by the way) - almost as if its in the wrong gear, a bit like close to stalling in a manual. It seems to occur after i take my foot off the acceleartor and I let the car slow down. Accelerate a bit and it goes away, slow down any more and it goes away too.

Is this serious or perhaps the ECU needs resetting? - i have not done it since i got the car a week ago. Does the ECU learn/programme it self to the driver's driving style and choose at which point to change up/down like in a mitsu FTO?

Thanks for the help..

Barry

Try cleaning the throttle bodies first. Use some brake cleaner and jam the throttles open with a screw driver and get a toothbrush in there.

After you've done that, disconnect the battery for 20-30 mins and wait 100 miles.

See what happens then.
