right i bought an apexi air filter and chip off Dan at DTA motorsport.(nice chap)

 

any way i started to take the old air filter box off befor they turned up to save time....... hope ya'slike the pic's, she cleans up well!:D

goose honk funny noise when boosting....caused by fitting aftermarket air filters and or blocked recirculation valves IIRC

go find a goose....squeeze......and note the noise...if similar to your car when booting about then yep its honk :D

Nice oil cooler bracket :).

 

Did you not have an internal splash guard for the induction ?.

It's not really needed with a standard air box but I would reccomend it with an induction.

bracket is ther to keep the auto box oil cooler just a little higher tan the engine one so they both get the sameair flow to them!

not a good idea - water and mafs don't mix too well!! mine was knackered, so I made a new one from some flexible platic... stopped the annoying limp home mode from appearing again!
