Wasnt it at 80p a litre when we had the fuel protests?

Cant remember bud, will need to check the receipt.

due to the price of diesel ive decided to get shut of the 406 & go back to petrol engine. its no longer viable to run a diesel anymore. at an average of 13p a litre more here, so call it 50p a gallon, thats £5 for 10 gallon more, its getting a fookin joke. plus on top of that, if anything goes wrong with a diesel engine it costs 3 times as much to repair than a petrol. no wonder people are moving out of this country. while in spain the other week unleaded was 56p a litre so why the fook do we have to pay so much  when they can do it at that price over there. makes my fookin blood boil. rant over.

if it Carry's on like this, they will be pricing us out of our vehicles

the prices achange every tuesday and thursday aparently and the price only seems to rise and never come back down !

everyone was going mad when it got to a £1 but soon it will be £2 as in the services by me it about £1.40 for ultimate diesel !

in theory thats what the govenrments about trying to get you all on public transport......but you know what even with petrol at the cost it is its still cheaper to use the car.........a monthly railsaver ticket from chorley to manchester is £125 so for me and the mrs thats £250 foooook that....having you seen the cost of a first class rail ticket to london thats £360 you can fly to london city from manchester for less than £80 go figure

the government are always moaning about this that & the other, crime rate goes up, theres house, car & whatever repossessions every day of the week, i mean ,ffs are they blind. im not surprised with any of it. they put everything up but never put wages up to compensate, so how the fook do they expect us to pay for it all. the best thing that EVER come from the houses of parliament was spitting image.

IIRC the coalition said if we dont invade iraq fuel will cost over $100 barrel....!! err did i miss something?

uno youve stole my sig lol!!

They used any old excuse for the meglamaniacs to hold the war though!!

Yep, classic case of GOTCH-YA-BY-THE-BALLS. If fuel prices were genuinely enviro-related then why do you pay MORE for the higher Octane fuels (they supposedly give extra mileage) and why is Public transport so expensive and unreliable? Flying (The supposedly) worst polluter is still cheaper than more direct rail travel.

'Green' cars hahahaha, How much for them?? They know we keep paying.:(

If they really wanted people NOT to drive then why not - Ban cars from the very roads you pay to drive on. Did someone say Roadworks, new Camera...?

its times like this that i wish this country was more like france ,the first hint of something they dont like and there whole country goes on strike and brings evething to a standstill, but at least it gets what the people want done :(

Well I know for a fact that diesel at tesco as gone up 3p in three days!!

Why I still have the Cav I don't know??

The oil price reached a record high yesterday at US$129 a barrel. There are predictions that it will top US$150 this year and could fetch US$200 by 2010 - which doesn't bode well for us !!

Does not help though that the govt take 60p per litre from us.

True - but I'm sure if/when Labour get voted out, the Tories would be no different !!

I do use public transport, Maybe we should get a discount on fuel if we show a valid monthly or yearly oyster card :)
