Thinking of either a nice glossy black finish or a glossy cherry red.

What kinda paint should i buy? will i need a laquor?

What colours would you choose?

Im also painting my timing belt covers... but again not sure on a colour yet and what paint to use and laquor.

thinking about polishing my CAS too

What psi would you recommend for an old tired engine ?

Stock boost.

Much debated but I usually recommend 12 psi and 13 as an absolute MAX... Its just not worth it for a few extra ponies...

Damn I forgot that option lol. Seen way too many cracked ring lands from people pushing it too far on old/worn parts....

The timing covers/throttle body cover are not finished, just been primed and painted but wet and dried ready for final coating.

Should have polished the lot!:D

I dont have the tools or the know how to do it :(

The rocker covers are hidden so i dont think it would be worth it anyway. cant polish timing covers, maybe i could have just polished the balance bar.

At least it's a picture of his cracked ring and not his ring crack.

Looking good there buddy.

Polished plenum next then.

Looking good mate, hats off to ya.

Are you going to do an under plenumn by pass ?. If so you could modify your water lines that you have sprayed to take out some of the slack that you don't need.

I have done this on mine but didn't take out the excess piping.
