Vijay the o2 sensors are at the back of the engine, you need to take out the batt to see the nearside one wink.gif.

yeah, I put Smithy's hard pipe on and now I'm getting code ecu error code 33 which is o2 sensor (left side). It says it could be an intake air leak. I assume it is to do with one of the pipes I've put on, but which one??????

The ECU gives error codes if the sensors output is outside the operating limits. Basically if there is no signal caused by a broken lead or short circuit. I would say it is not a mixture problem but a sensor problem. If you look down the rear left corner of the engine, you will see the exhaust as it comes out the back of the turbo and bends down to go under the car... The O2 sensor is situated on the top of this bend. Follow the wire up and check the connector is ok.

Have you done a ECU mode II diagnoses to see if there is any signal at all coming from the O2???

Cheers Andy,

Did that and all is fine. The strange thing is last night, I had a code 33, today code 55 withought disconnecting battery. I did the ecu mode II oxy sensor diag and it seams to have sorted it out - very strange....

Thanks for your help,

Vijay
