Craig, as for the leather boots: mine was peeling off, so I had my previous girlfriend (want a pic guys? I can deliver hehe) order one for me at an upholstery shop that was next to her college.

 

It came out so good that I posted pics on TT.NET and got PLENTY of people interested. So I took my time developing a fully mature, high quality product and got everything together (payments, website, shipping - the works) and started selling.

 

It's not where I make my living actually, it's a little extra that buys gas, insurance and maintenance for the Z...

 

In the meantime, the girlfriend changed to the one you can see above... :)

Ah, Poznan. My favourate of the two places. I have to admit that when it comes to pivo, I'm more of a zwciesz kind of guy (I KNOW that is spelt wrong but you know what I mean!). I think I'm off to Poznan in a few weeks - only ever seen one Z there (in the Rynek) and it was REALLY beaten up.

Actually I can't figure out what you mean by zwciesz because that definitely is not the right spelling. I'm trying to read it fonetically in different ways but I can't get it right. What do you mean?

Oops, 3 posts! Actually it was because the forum didn't appear to update for several hours after I originally posted. I got bored after the second repost ;-)

 

zwciesz was the beer that I keep ordering. I can say it but I (obviously) can't spell it. After drinking a few, I can't even say it ;-)

 

I'm in Poland all the time because my company does online card transaction software for loads of the banks there. I'm always going to Poznan and Wroclaw because of WBK and BZ (who have now been bought and merged by AIB). You will soon be able to top up your Idea mobile phone from an ATM - I coded that (along with mini-statements and transfer to credit card).

 

I don't normally go to Warsaw - I fly through there. I can always stay over for a weekend (my company has bought a flat in Poznan for us). I'll let you know when the next trip for me will be when I'm gonna have some time at the weekend. My current project is slipping (don't all IT projects?) so it may be a little longer than I first thought!
