Cam Belt looks OK, it was checked by Zedworld when it was there in Feb and Jeff said it looks pretty new.

Could it be a duff CAS?

you need to check if your getting a spark and if you can here the injectors ticking when you turn the cas then NO it is fine

I did take the CAS out an Manually spin it, the injectors clicked.

Haven checked for a speark yet as I need to go an buy the right socket.

Mind you I have spare spark plugs, so shall i just connect one of them to the coilpack and crank the engine.

The plug will have to be earthed to spark. If you have jumper leads, put the plug in to the coil pack as normal and then grip the plug bodywith one end of a lead and then other end to earth on the engine, turn engine over on the key and it should spark.

I just usually rest the plug on the plenum and get someone to crank while I watch for a spark - either way will work. Checking for a spark is definately the way forward :)

Vern
