Problems so far LMAO !!!

Problem one

Took it out of vallet mode and entered the black jack code.

Not accepted, tried the factory code, not accepted.

Car stuck in black jack mode with the alarm going off and no power to the ignition. Window stuck open.

Called the company that fitted it for me 4 years ago, they could send someone out but at a cost.

Guy came out, diagnosed the problem, replaced the switch that you enter the code on, all working again. £80 spent.

Problem two

took the car out for a drive, keeping the revs below 3000 but above 1000.

Drives lovely, engine purrs, feels like it really wants to move. Turbo's kicking in really early at about 2500 rpm. Compared to my stock which was just above 3000.

Parked it up for a couple of hours. Thought i'd go out again in it.

Turned the key, engine started then died. Tried again Engine started then died.

Just doesn't seem to be holding the revs to keep it running.

I've not touched anything since I parked it up till I started it again.

Any ideas ?. I'm thinking fuel related but I'm starting to remember what a pain in the arse these cars can be at times.

congrats on getting it back!

sounds like a loose sensor, check the usual culprits and go from there (water temp, ptu,MAF & cas)

Yep it still goes to show no matter how much money you throw at these things they still f**k up. I know exactly how you feel mate :(

fixed, after checking all the connections it seemed to point to the temp sensor

It's doing it again, I have a feeling I should have replaced the loom when the engine was out :(.
