while cleaning the car inside i took the mats out and found that underneath it in the driver's side was all soggy so I have lifted the carpet and is soaking underneath, cannot see no holes lol but there is a rubber tube running under there...

 

is this the draintube for the targa top ?

Sounds more like your heater matrix has gone, smell it does it smell like coolent?

my heater matrix bust too. chris at z autos put a new one in for me. hope your car is an auto so much easyer to put in no taking off any peddels.

no coolant smell just water, but its not leaking down the side no more unless its been in there since there matrix was playing up ? as it was in the cold and had no coolant at all.

 

so led me to believe that was freezing up in the car but now i have put coolant in and there has been no leaks at all.

 

Just lifted the carpet back as far as I can (seat out) and its in the area where the rubber tube runs under.

check your targa drain tubes aren't blocked

The only tube I could see around that area sorta ran from the back of the car up the drivers side just past the boot/pertol cap latch then directly goes across to the centre of the car, the wet patch is quite soggy but would be directly under ya knee's for average height person lol.

I have put the car back together atm as its so hot and I have no shade to work in :(

But it does not seem to be coming "down" from anywhere thought It may have been coming under the carpet fom the matrix area but its dry there so I think its the tube I have seen but its moulded in coating of some sort and could not get the carpet all the way out from the centre, that will be a job for a cooler day :D

the only water that is inside the car is the heater matrix or the drain for the aircon ! if its the matrix its generally both sides of the carpet where as the A/C drain is just the passenger side !
