As above the slave cylinder has literally fallen apart. coming of the motorway last night. got to the top of the slip road ond the clutch peddle was on the floor. Ended up waisting most of the day only to discover that the rod from the box has dropped down the inside of the bell housing and the rod from the slave has literally poped right out.

Well pissed off. My blue car is in storage and I may not be able to get out till Saturday afternoon, my other Red SWB is in the body shop with no front wings or bonnet and i have lent a friend of mine my bloody pickup truck for the weekend so I may be *****xed for getting to billing this weekend.

gutted m8 it shit init always happens all at the same time, i hate bein without a motor especially in this nice weather. If it's any help i have a good slave cylinder spare 20 quid posted.

Well This looks like an advert for Danny and MJP. The end of the pivet ball snapped off. Me thinking its only an NA and that it would be OK is going to be costly. A new slave, Thrust bearing, Pivet ball, selector and the gear box off to boot and lets hope no damage to the friction plates. The additional cost of missing what looks like a really good weekend at Billing Z008.

So take heed. If you are doing a job on these cars replace anything that may fail, because it will. It will save you in the long run.

Had that happen on mine only it was the fork that snapped a couple of months after fitting an RPS clutch and uprated pivot ball!

just do what paul did to the pink z and blow a con rod through it, you will then be able to get you hand in and reconect fork and bearing:D
