matey, remember when we were at chester and you had us sniffing around the bottom of your car for burnt oil????

well i think ive got the same disease cos when i park up after giving the car some stick ive got a fluid burning off my exhaust, i'm pretty sure its engine oil but it smokes like a **** and highly embarrasing. did u fing what yours was? just to give me some pointers before i crawl underneath tomorrow armed with paper towels and talc..

It was my rear main bearing seal mate.

It had gone due to blocked PCV valves (or pvc whichever way you say it)

 

I hear its quite a common problem on the zed.

 

If u want to ring me or something my number is 07976 208692.

 

Bit of a pain to fix as u have to get the box off to do it and the crank ventilation valves are a bit of an **** to get to.
