just to let people know, there has been a few people in the herts/london area who have had there exhaust cats cut off there vehicles (mainly 4x4). talking to some of my customers in the garage trade.they are fitting more cats due to this problem.

yup big prob nationwide, they are worth quite a lot of money for the material inside them, i got £20 each for my cats and they were classed as old and only half, you can get over £100 for a new cat at a scrap yard, they are targeting 4x4 cause you can get underneath easily and steal them without jacking them up

Yep very true they are worth money, i needed a cat for a small car i was selling and asked the breakers i know and they said, nope ain't got any, cos they cut them all out and get £30 a pop, regardless of condition!

 

There are some fookin cheeky b4astard coonts to go and do that to peoples cars though!!! :rant: :rant:
