Right. Frist off apologies if this is a FAQ, i did look and not see.

i had 'a bit of a ding' in my uk, '94 plate, auto, tt, 4 seater, targa top the other day and i was wondering what other models i can pinch parts from (imports, age, etc, etc.)

thanks for all, eagerly anticipated, advice. Jamie.

Welcome to the nut house.

As turboZ says, you need to say what bits you need as many bits are swappable and many are not.

Try to stick up some photos of the damage and I am sure you may even get some advice as to what may be damaged.

Good luck with the repair.

Darrell

Would it not be worth subscribing first?

which parts is it you need mate?

Oh the irony

LOL! hehe

Front end is pretty much universal 3 different models of bumper available, 89-98 we have the NA and TT number and IIRC both the NA and the TT bumper both used the "99 spec" bumper.

If you car is standard then it has the 89-98 TT bumper with the intercooler slats.

I believe all models apart from the convertible are the same to rear of the doors, then they are then all different between LWB and SWB (obviously the rare SWB slicktop has a tin lid instead of removable glass panels but apart from that its the same)

skyline GTR brakes and thats about it i think

well as yours is a uk, you will find most parts are interchangable with j spec lwb models.

if you want to swap your uk clocks for jap spec ones ill do that for you cos im good like that!

I might even consider swapping your interior in your uk for the highly soughtafter japanese tweed!!

Im all heart me!

Door is specific to LWB only. UK or Jap will be fine.

Indicator is different for UK and Jap.

Exhaust system differs between LWB and SWB

Wings are same for all.

Legrath/David, I thought SWB/LWB exhausts differ too?

opps...Correct ! I meant differs for SWB and LWB....have fixed post now.

If you have a J spec id stick to a J spec door as uk have no belts in them cos its on the pillar.

Thanks for the consice answers. I am a regestered user so i thought mabe it was something else i had over-looked, sorry. Also, forgot to mention that the catch on the end of the driver's side lock barrel that shifts the linkage to operate the lock mechanism has snapped so ill be needing a new one of them ( yellowy green transparent washer with a pivoting yellow clip. held in place be a circlip)-is this standard on most nissans or a 300 thing?

The mounting holes are all there wether you fit the belts on teh door or not. Makes no difference.
