Ive fitted powerflex ones before there a pig of a job used a hydralic press with lots of fairyliquid .Id go for new rose jointed tension rods there cheap and easy to fit .;)

Yes, the rose joint adjustable replacements are best. I've heard that polly bushing the tension rods can lead them to break causing a seriouse component failure. Saying that i have poly bushes, but am saving for some powertrix adjustable tension rods

Apex performance sell there own tension rod bushes for £25 or whitelines for £38,

was pretty easy to fit but might of been lucky :)

Id recommend the 3 piece energy ones as they have more flex and movement while still maintaing a solid feel. These are less likely to tear your bottom arms than the solid ones.

What ones do i have, lol ??

It's a no brainer just go for the rose jointed ones, they are the best and will not crack your lower arms leading to a catastrophic failure!!!!!!

Yes i agree.

Yes i agree, unless you know for certain that you will never lower your car then you may aswell just stick to bushings.

Lowering doesn't have anything to do with cracking the lower arm, and the bushes do not give any guarantee against cracking the lower arm.

Use the three part ones.

An amazing diference over stock, easy to fit by hand (still need to press old out though)

and cheap too.

Look thru old threads, you can see what solid bushes did to mine+ many others cars.

Even with the rose jointed type, you need to be careful, lots have broken/failed,Pricey though.

The older solid uprated bushings were too rigid limiting the twist of the rod. the three piece as i said above has alot more twist, you can clearly see the difference once they are fitted, you can move them side to side with your arm before you screw them on of course.

Not if you buy quality rose jointed items, there have been no problems with powertrix products!

I think before there are recommendations for poly bushes we need to leave it a few years and see if the braver members are still around to recommend them ;)

 ive never heard of that happening before, ive never had any trouble with the solid uprated on my other cars,i guess maybe ive been lucky!

only down side with the rose jointed ones if you have 19 inch wheels, it makes the ride even harder when you hit bumps in the road, rattle my teeth ddue to the fact there is no give at all so all the impact is straight through the suspension arm:(

I think the 19s are more the culprit than the rods:o

It will be a mixture of big wheels and big brakes that will split your standard tension rod bushings :D
