hi eric

long time since i mailed you, its me the AEM PEST again, now the zeds back on the road meanwhile am building my spare engine, just ordered the mike smith manifolds yesterday,

any to cut the crap, have you got a cal file for a dynoed zed running 555cc inj with stock tubs boosting about 16 psi ideally or a map near that so i can look at the fuel map and ign timing maps and other parameters to compare to mine, or do you have a list off the correct settings/parameters for the zed that replicate as good a driveability as the stock ecu

cheers :x:

Rich, with the AEM specifically, what works on one car doesn't necessarily have to work on another car just as well.

Especially if you are using the MAP sensor setup, which relies on the engine VE (Volumetric Efficiency)

I have tried to help you several times, but it's very hard to "finetune" a car by email.

Also, as I said before, if you want the most out of the AEM for your car it's best to go to a certified AEM tuner near you or bring the car over here to DTA Motorsport in Holland, so we can do it for you.

lol mike yeah i've got it running pretty decent and at 16 psi by data logging and constantly tweaking fuel map ,

Eric I understand what you are saying regarding it being set up, but thats just it there isn't anybody around my area that i could honestly say they knew what they were doing,I've rung a few tuners and asked em about AEM,and you get yeah i'm sure we can sort it out, i want my car set up throughout the rev range spot on not just at WOT , adn i was going to have it dynoed when i've fitted my new engine, as otherwise it would have to be done twice

i just wanted to look at a dynoed map that has been done correctly to see what patern there is in relationship to the AFR throughout the load range

I would assume there is a std patern like the afr setting from vac to low boost to full boost same with ign, what the advance would be off boost up until low boost to high boost which i know would depend on detonation on the high end

if you get what i'm trying to say??

as for the other settings I was asking eg what the optimum micro sec/ rate is used, map filter settings/ or accell enrichment % & duration..etc or is are these setting only for individual engines
