Theres lots of setup info for the greddy boost controllers but not much for the blitz. I have an SBC-I Colour boost controller and starting to ask around about settings and getting conflicting opinions. It has 4 pre-sets and an off and i'm just using one of the settings.

I'm boosting a steady 0.86 bar with my SET at 47 and GAIN at 25. Is this incorrect GAIN?

The way i understood it was you set the SET at increments of 10 until you reach the desired boost and then set the GAIN at increments of 5 untill you start getting spikes, then fine tune them both so its smooth? see here http://www.splparts.com/doc/SBC-iD.htm

Silver Bullet pm'd me his settings yestarday which are different to mine.

on stock tubs, the max psi should be 14 and the limit set to 1.05 to 1.10 pending on how daring you are.

each of my 4 settings were ratio 50 right up to ratio 70 with a gain of 15 (auto tubs) 10 to 12 for manual tubs would be ok.

i found air preassure and temp affected the amount of boost reached aswell.

So, is there anyone else with a Blitz EBC??? I'd like some different and safe boost settings for different conditions.

The setting will be different on every car due to the state of the engine, turbo's, air leaks etc so you can't really go on other peoples settings.

Set is the percentage of maximum boost so adjust it until you reach the desired pressure.

Gain is how quick the boost rises. The higher the figure the more kick in the back you'll get but at risk of spiking over your max pressure.

I always liked to keep the gain quite high for the thrust oooerrr but if you keep hitting your limiter value and it has been set to cut too far back you get a surging sensation.

I've got the SBC-ID and Power Meter on mine.
