Well

Jeff lent me some alloys whilst mine were being refurbed..... got them back and gave him back his.

Yesterday had to do a trip Aylesbury to Swansea and back. Got just past Bridgewater on the way down a had a blowout doing about 95 - 100....

Completely wrecked the wheel. Had to put the pram wheel on (Thanks RAC man) and had to stay at 50 mph the rest of the way down. Phoned up Zedworld and asked if they still had the spare alloys. Yes they said, we can courier them to your work for you. So drove all the way back at 50 like a rolling hazard on the M4 and made it back. Into work this morning and at midday two alloys turn up for me

Thanks again Zedworld....

So your newly refurbed rim got twatted? Ouch! What were you doing in Bridgwater? (no 'e' by the way). You should have popped in for a cuppa on your way up the M5. :)

Yes, we were on a tight timescale though... and then facing a 50mph drive back.. going to upgrade to 18s though but it means I won't have a spare of 17s just in case.... bummer

Don't know yet whether it was a puncture first them rim damage or rim failure that deflated the tyre. won't know til the tyre is off the rim and onto the other one and can be checked out
