Are UK and US pcv hoses the same?

I have heard they don't have the wire brush inside on the us one but are there any other differences?

    I replaced mine last weekend. I am in Australia with a Jap spec 2+2 TT. Bought the hose and valves from Concept Z Performance in USA. Great supplier, cheap and quick.

     

    The hoses are not a lot of fun to replace, especially the rear one. The best advise I received was "don't try and get the old one off in one piece". Get yourself a good set of long nosed pliers and tear the old one off in bits, it'll be really brittle. The new one slides on like a pri*k in a shirt sleeve - easy. Good luck

    The UK ones used to have a wire brush and a metal disc in them, the us ones now only seem to have a metal disc!

    not sure then matey, if they fit then they should be ok, never had mine off yet so i dont know what they look like but mine will be comin soon so i'll let you know!!!

    No so. The ones I bought from the States had the disc and the wire brush.

    yep, I have just fitted new ones to mine, bought them from Courtesy in the US, they had discs and wire brushes.

    If someone can check their pcv hoses as I have a few out of their packets, the driver side hose just has the metal disc in.

     

    The passenger side hose has the wire brush and metal disc?

     

    I presume both the hoses connected to the cam covers are the same, with the metal disc in, no wire brush?
