Thanx, zx-eyes! Good to hear.

I've been told that I can't drive the car my self to the Ferry. Does anyone know anything about the rules for that (I'm from Denmark) ?

BTW: I am in contact with the owner, just FYI :)

Cheers,

Claus

If the vehicle is taxed, MOT'd (basically Road legal) and you are insured to drive it from where you are purchasing to the Ferry you should be able to drive - can't see a reason why not.

What Paul would need to do on this end, is give you section 10 of the V5 (log book), send Section 11 to the DVLA with the rest of the document .. that's the notification of permanent Export then you'll just need to re-register it in Denmark

PaulG's car, Known as the fridge.

I've seen this car in the flesh and it is one of the nicest wide arse cars on the forum. The pic's don't do it justice You have to see it in the flesh to get a true understanding of how well that rear spoiler works. Yet it always looks wrong in the pics.

So long as you have insurance cover, the new owner slip of the logbook and a bill of sale stating that you have paid paul £??,??? for it and the car. Also if it is Taxed and Tested you will be legal to drive her away and of to the boat.

You got yourself a real peach of a Zed there. It's a shame that it is leaving the UK. Hope you get over here for a few club meets or meet up with us on the next Nurburgring run.

"...and you are insured to drive it..." This I don't understand. In Denmark it's the car which is insured, not people. A insured car can be driven with any one with a license.

I know about how to re-register it in Denmark, so thanx for the UK side of it, 300zx_girl

BTW: Paul, if you're reading this I hope your not offended by this post. I've been cheated once before (I lost ~ 7.500 £), so just wanted to check to be sure!

Yup, the Fridge, gorgeous car, here are some pic's from meets.

Hi Claus

Im pleased for you to talk to people that have seen the car, I know its a long way for you so you have to be sure.

I am trying to sort out some way of getting it to the docks for you but my problem at the moment is work, I wont have time to get there for last check in by the time I get away from work, especially with it being peak time on a Friday, I am still thinking of a way round it

Cheers

Paul

only talking to Duffster earlier in the week when I said it was one of the nicest ones Ive seen and have been lucky enough to see it in the flesh at Sutton Bank a couple of months ago.Must be difficult to part with such a nice example

yup a very nice motor, inspired me to put my wide arches on my zed, it really is as good as it reads and looks in the adds
