Has anyone removed their steering wheel!...

...I need to remove mine shortly, without damaging it! I had to destroy the gearknob to remove it, hopefully the steering wheel will be easier?

    its pretty straight forward, just remove the centre section (it clips off) and then it is the main nut and off it comes, just be carefull of the hicas sensor and the hooter wires as they are quite short.
