I mean if he threw the contents around the street then fair enough but we are talking a criminal record for the lid raised four inches:rolleyes:

this is another glaring example of the misuse of fixed penalty notices. It's disgusting. I'm sure a few words of advice would have been far more effective.

I was looking at New Zealand last year for the very same reasons,I honestly believe that who ever replaces the clown at number 10 wont have enough time to try and sort the mess out that good old Tony started.

We've aso been looking there mac, it looks a beautiful place, but i have family in Oz so mite be a little easy on us with family to help out ,

And i agree with you :(

I think I'd go dump all my rubbish outside council offices for the next 6 months until they rethink their policy.

Makes a change from making money out of drivers I suppose.

oh dear. they halve the amount of collections, then give someone a criminal record for having a slightly overfilled bin.

i find it quite amusing and ironic that yellow-bellied Blair-sucking lefties call everyone else right-wing, racist and anti-human-rights, yet the same government that they vote for will enforce and control your lives in ways like this. someone needs to WAKE UP

And what we all going to do about it hay?

Yep!^^

Make a cup of good English tea.

Happy St.Georges day all!!:D

Thats an infringement of his human rights and he should sew the council for millions.

Don't quote me on this but its in article 1 about being able to use your own propperty for what ever perpose you choose as long as it doesn't break the law.

Cherrie Blair got away with it when she used to accept designer cloths against goverment rules.

The reason i heard that he got done was because he wasn't recycling! He was putting plastic bottles, cans the works in the wrong bin, that is why they got p1ssy

What a load of rubbish

He got fined an initial £110 for having an overfilled bin. You can save £30 by just throwing the rubbish all over the street as the fine for fly tipping is "only" £80!

Dont Even Get Me Started On Bin Collections!!

So true Dave:cry:

Makes you proud to see what the country has come to doesn't it?

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Even then, he should not have been fined and given a criminal record. There is no law that say we have to recycle waste yet. Rubbish is rubbish and it goes in the bin; councils take our rates so they must provide the service.

Anyone see today's paper?

Mother fined £75 for littering, after her young daughter dropped a piece of sausage roll (Which was soon eaten by birds) on the ground.

I think we should all go out and buy aluminium bins again. That'll give the fookers something real to moan about! Also, this is the fifth conversation I've heard this week involving people seriously considering moving abroad. At this rate we're going to die out like Red Indians!

Sick to death of this recycling malarky, I might be a bit more accomodating with it, if they were not so petty and heavy handed with us.

When my green bin is back up and running, it will get filled with the contents of the cats litter tray.

ahh but the thing is that saugage roll could of caused a fall by some pikey and sued the council for 3-5 grand enabling him to buy fake gold braclets from cash converters and new games for his play station:headvswal:headvswal

whats needed here is a treash compactor like they have in teh states. tehn they will fine for too heavy
