What's the best stuff to use on exhaust joints?

 

Got one of those japspeed ones with metal gaskets. I was thinking maybe using 1600 degree high temp RTV?

 

 

Good or bad idea?

tis good stuff that just make sure you clean the surface on the other section (the older part of the exhaust), oh and dont put it before the cats if you still have em

Silicone sealant intended for automotive use is fine and always works for me.

Dunno what it is (probably what jimmer says), but my mech just used some paste stuff, does the job great :)

RTV is silicon sealant... and as jimmer says, yes it good for your exhaust... alot better than exhaust paste imo.
