well, i think this is a real pi$$ take by the government. the road tax prices on a lot of vehicles made after 2001 are going to be crazy by 2009-2010. how the hell can they get away with this :rant:, they make me :hurl:

I just renewed the Zeds tax online and it had gone up £2 from the renewal notice I had just recieved, £101.75 for 6mths.

More reason to keep my zed forever :D

My renewal was for £180 for 12 months, went up to £185 when I actually renewed PLUS £2.50 for the pleasure of using Visa :headvswal

not just the road tax, the water is up 7.5 % the council tax 4% the electric 15 %, the mortgage 3% apr and food is extortionate and my wage will go up by 3 %

 

How do these so called economic experts expect us to be able to cater for the increses? did they ever do mathematics GCSE? Next they will be addressing why so many people are facing reposession, its about time some folk woke up and smelt the coffee!!

i thought the idea was new cars were environmentally-friendly both to manufacture and run, and older cars were to be taxed to the hilt. £150 for a 1.8 Civic that does over 40mpg!!!
