...I know this has been covered, but I'm trying to work out which bungs I need to remove in order to run a powercable up to the battery. Now, take off the lower part of the arch liner and there's a grey bung at the bottom. I popped this off and sure enough, it does go someway into the bulkhead...but to where?

I took up the carpet and took off the ECU kick plate, shone a torch through from the outside to see if I could see where it went....darkeness.

Am I going in through the right place? Or is there another bung elsewhere?

Cheers

not too sure about drivers side si, but i run my amp cable through a bung behind the passenger side repeater. just remove the inner wheel arch liner and its a little lower than the side repeater, you will see where the wires go through. not sure if thats any help to you.

in fact, im sure you are in exactly the right place where you are now. i just put a slit in the bung after pulling it out, then pushed the cable through. it came out right in the left corner under the ecu cover.

The bung I saw was the one right at the bottom. Not the same one as the repeater is half way up the wing?

it was a while since i put the cable through, its lower than the repeater but its about inline with the repeater from a vertical point of view. from what i remember it already had wires going through the bung.

Sounds like I need to completely remove the arch liner then to get at it.
