I know this comes up a lot, but whats the best petrol?

SHELL Vpower?

BP Ultimate?

tesco super unleaded?(I know its crap but is it ok to run my car on?)

I'd say Shell V Power (coz thats what I use....)

I was asleep, woke up when I came on here - nightmares :o .... and am shattered now :cry:

I work nights so my sleep pattern goes funny over the weekend and a just get a few hour here and there. Sleep's over rated anyway

I use Shell Vpower. I also have a car so i get points and then get prices off of petrol ;)

tried all three . and tescos gas allways feels the best. i have my girl friend go and fill it up she can use any of the three gas staions in the list . i tell her to never tell me where she gets the gas from , i can allways tell when it has tescos petrol in it,

You do know they have added bio-fuel to tescos petrol???

Super unleaded in Esso for me usually, Tesco sometimes and rare occasion normal unleaded cos need it badly,lol

V-Power for me unless the fookin place is shut (and it usually is) or BP Ultimate 2nd choice although that's fooking well expensive ! Sometimes Tesco 99 3rd choice and I didn't know they added Bio Fuel, is that bad ?

I found a BP garage with 102 octane fuel. £2.42 a litre though :shock:

if modified - then v power - without a doubt

2.42 a litre, fu**in Hell, i defo ain't buying any of that then, i just put the highest petrol the nearest station has when the gauge gets below a Qtr, usually 97, Runs absolutly fine. have put v power in before and couldn't tell the diff

Shell all the way for me even before the mods.

I use regular unleaded wherever i find a station :D

Mine runs sweetest on V Power, OK on BP ultimate and other 97 Octane fuels Sh1t on the rest V Power also gives the best MPG

V power for me, i had to put some regular in the other day... but i keep some bottles of octane booster in the car just in case such events happen!

Regular unleaded for me too - stock UK spec car;)

 

But I only use Shell or BP as I collect plus-points and nectar points......

 

.......Although I will use Vpower in very hot conditions as it seems to aid performance of the ZX. In normal conditions I do not notice any benefit from the higher octane fuels; although I get better mpg from Shell over BP.

I would use that but goes into safety boost if dont use super, cos its chipped

Mainly use Tesco as it is cheaper and I have a club card.

 

On the recent Tan hill trip used a whole tank getting to Blackpool (200 miles), pulled into a shell and it was 121 a litre. Was a quick splash and dash to tesco.
