Indiglo Dial Help

Got one of those indiglo dials kits from flea bay.

Only downside is it has it's own switch so i have to first turn on the lights with the main switch then turn it on with it's own switch.

What i really want is for them to come on when i turn on the main lights so no need for an additional switch.

I've found the 12v feed to the lights which i've wired the transformer into. They do come on when i turn on the main switch but not all the time.

I've worked out that the switch to turn on the indiglo lights is not a permanent on/off 12v feed switch, it just makes a contact then dissengages.

Does anyone have this set up and have they re-wired it so it comes on with the main light switch?

Cheers

Alex

all the ones ive ever seen have a dimmer switch, not an on/off switch. they have always come on when you turn the sidelights on as well. if theres only 2 wires that go to the switch your on about, then you could just join those 2 wires together, but i think its more than likely the dimmer switch which has gone faulty (bad connection inside).
