just thought id show off my custom seat replacement leatherette  cant wait to get it installed, but first i want to replace the crappy tweed with a similar dark blue, and perhaps go for the aluminium dash cover too. i also have a wide horizontal pod to fit one of my Apexi gadgets, new handbrake gaitor, and a sexy Nissan fire extinguisher. but first the Z has to behave itself as its MOT time at the end of this month and she's been behaving quite badly since the rebuild (needed connections soldering from PTU s1 adapter to s2 as sometimes it would drop a couple of cylinders, broken water pipes at front of engine required me to get it recovered back to mine, then back to Mickey's, and now im losing boost through a gap somewhere near the manifold im sure of it - happened to me before, i think its cos i have to reverse diagonally up onto my driveway and something in the engine bay doesnt like twisting, oh and she's still running a little warmer than normal FFS, so she's not getting anything new until she behaves! :slap:).

looking good are those the ones off ebay???

yeah theyre usually knocking around ebay. i was a little cautious when i was thinking about making the purchase, but im really pleased with the quality. about 6 week turnaround time. good choice of colours too and quite flexible in what you can ask for.

How come you went for vinyl over leather? Looking forward to seeing the colour combo fitted.

Nice choice of colour, i love that blue buddy :D

Have you still not got it running properly yet? Just glad i didn't bed it in for you now i woud have got the blame lol

tbh i wasnt too fussed what the material was Si, my standard leather is in pretty poor shape and all things considered this item was just what i was looking for pricewise and lookswise. ill be looking for a vinyl or similar trim kit soon too.

Hey up Nick, ive still got 750 miles left to go, the Zs just being an awkward git. MOT time at the end of the month and the rear wheel bearings need doing too :headvswal ah well she'll soon be back in shape ( :x: ) how's the silver one doing bud? ive not spoken to you for ages, lol!

he can also supply the material to do all the door cards etc ;)

yeah i noticed that and was tempted to buy an extra lot for the interior while i was ordering the seats but i didnt want to get it all at once in case i wasnt happy with the quality.

I bought a set of this 6 weeks ago and they are arriving tomorrow! Fingers crossed they will be easy-ish to fit!

who were you bumping? lol.

well, update from me: nothing's happened yet! ive not been able to find the other chap on fleabay who supplies the cards etc. so i'll contact the seller who makes the seat leatherette to see what he can do. im trying not to tempt myself to get a new front bumper and sideskirts too, but should i succeed im going to dump it all on the bodyshop and let them work their magic!

ok i checked out ebay US and the seller is there - the one that was originally selling on UK ebay but hasnt been around for a while. i just ordered the kit from him, $137 all in, which i thought was quite reasonable. lets hope that nice mr. postman doesnt want an extra £60 on top of that!!! :slap:
