I've seen some instructions somewhere to clean certain pipes to solve the engine reves sometimes sitting at 1500rpm instead of 750. I don't need to adjust the base idle as its correct. Anyone got any info or a link???

aint got a link but it sounds like the water temp sensor, the yellow 1 on the top pipe at the front of the engine bay that goes into the block, just take it out and clean it up.

Sounds like a sticking idle control valve rear right at corner of plenum.Try taking off one end of pipe to it and give it a good blast with carb cleaner Bud.Might sort it as mine some times sticks.

Thats great, thanks guys. Have cut that temp connector off and replaced with red space connectors anyway :)

BeeGee, you got a pic of the pipe or location of the valves at all ??

In that lot LOL.No specific pic though as its buried in Bling. From the front, the valve is fitted to the right hand corner of plenum the first black rubber pipe that runs along side of plenum on the r/hand side is the one you blast carb cleaner into."NOT WITH ENGINE RUNNING THOUGH" I bet some one will be along in abit with a pic.

if you unbolt the bling just at the back, by the bling.. then remove the bling that attaches the bling to the bling... youll see the idle control valve just past the bling on the right hand side. be careful when removing that you dont damage the bling!
